Itinerary
Day 1Casablanca – Marrakech+
Drive to Marrakech and discover Jemaa el-Fna square, the Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Garden, the YSL museum and the Bahia Palace.
Day 2Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Gorges+
Over the High Atlas with a stop at an argan oil cooperative, visit Ait Ben Haddou and the film studios of Ouarzazate, then the Rose Valley and the winding Tissdrine road into the Dades Gorges.
Day 3Dades – Todra Gorges – Merzouga+
Walk inside the Todra canyon, then on to Merzouga. Camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset and night in a Berber camp.
Day 4Merzouga – Erfoud – Ifrane – Fes+
Sunrise over the dunes, then north through the Ziz Valley and Midelt, the cedar forest with Barbary macaques, and Ifrane, before reaching Fes.
Day 5Fes city tour+
The royal palace gates, the Mellah, the view from Borj Nord, Al Quaraouiyine, the Chouara tanneries and a ceramics workshop.
Day 6Fes – Chefchaouen+
Drive to the blue city. Kasbah museum, the Outa el Hammam square, the Ras el Ma spring and an easy walk up to the Spanish mosque at sunset.
Day 7Chefchaouen – Rabat – Casablanca+
Stop in Rabat for the Kasbah of the Udayas and the Hassan Tower, then visit the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca before your drop-off.
